Rich and structured, the 2019 vintage opens with layered aromas of black cherry, plum, currant, and warm spice. The palate is full and expressive, shaped by the Mt. Veeder terroir with earthy undertones and concentrated dark fruit, followed by notes of olive, bay leaf, and espresso. The finish is long and steady, with the structure to age well through at least 2036.

The estate vineyard sits along Napa’s western hillsides at the base of Mt. Veeder, where elevation, sun exposure, and well-drained Mayacamas soils contribute to the wine’s intensity and definition.
