Enhancing and extending the features of the previous SplashDrone 3, the latest SplashDrone 3+ is SwellPro's most reliable and versatile waterproof drone yet. This all-purpose, all-weather, waterproof flying platform allows you to operate in most weather conditions and tough environments, whether over land or over the sea. With its advanced modular design, it can quickly adapt to all type of missions from aerial filming to search and rescue, ocean survey, fishing and many more applications.
The included PL2 bait release module turns the waterproof SplashDrone 3+ into a killer fishing drone that can dramatically extend your casting range and drop multiple baits at once. The SplashDrone 3+ is engineered to deliver your long line over half a mile away and drops your bait or lures exactly where you need them. Unlike some DIY fishing rigs or third-party bait droppers, the waterproof release modules on the SplashDrone 3+ precisely deploy your line with a simple flick of a switch on the remote controller.
With its superior 2.2 lb bait capacity, SplashDrone 3+ allows you the flexibility to carry more than 10 baited hooks or lures on each cast or drop heavy live baits for sharks or tuna. The new high-voltage battery extends flight time, allowing 3-6 bait casts from a single battery charge (distance dependent).
The PL2 also features a fixed-angle HD FPV camera to help you easily spot fish and decide where the bait needs to be. Fly above the strike zone to view the movement of schools of fish or land on the water to take a closer look underwater at fish and terrain.—just set the angle of the camera before flight to suit your needs.
Every part of SplashDrone 3+ is 100% waterproof and seawater ready. Not only is the airframe water-sealed and pressure tested, the internal electronics are also coated for further corrosion-resistance. The robust body and full carbon fiber propellers provide the durability to fly in winds up to 18 mph (Beaufort Force 4) with gusts to 31mph (Force 6).
The release mechanism, propellers, and landing gears all connect to the drone quickly and easily to minimize setup. Attaching your fishing line just takes a second. Dual GPS and other sensors enable SplashDrone 3+ to automatically hover at its current position and altitude. Once you’ve dropped your bait, just flick the Return-Home switch and the SplashDrone 3+ will automatically return and land gently at the take-off point.

Please Note: The battery charger supplied with the SplashDrone 3+ is only suitable for charging SwellPro LiHV batteries and the LiPo batteries for the SplashDrone 3+ remote controller. Charging non-LiHV, low voltage LiPo batteries (including the batteries for the older SplashDrone 3) with the LiHV charger is dangerous and may cause the battery to catch fire or explode.
FAQ
The fishing basic just comes with an FPV camera to see either where you are going or where you are dropping your bait. That camera has to be set to a fixed position manually and you cannot record video or take pictures with it.
What is flight time?The flight time depends on the payload but it’s up to 25 minutes.
How long battery life before recharging?Battery life depends on the payload.
But with a fully charged battery, you can expect up to 25min of flight time before needing to recharge or switch the battery.
The fishing basic comes with a bait release mechanism that allows you to remotely release a bait further than what you could possibly do manually.
