On that memorable night, Kobe scored 60 points against the Jazz, making him the oldest player in NBA history to score 60 points in a game. The circular purple confetti, designed like basketballs with "24" in the middle, and the yellow rectangular confetti dropped at the Staples Center to celebrate his retirement. Photos in this listing include screenshots of news articles showing the confetti at the Staples Center and its aftermath on the Lakers court.

Originally, the piece from Upper Deck was a simple black mat gallery-style item, limited to 108 pieces and numbered #47 in the edition. To enhance it, we added confetti pieces, a purple suede top mat, and a gold laser-engraved nameplate with Kobe's final major career stats. This enhanced piece is unique—it's the only one of its kind in our collection, making it a true 1/1 Kobe item.

It includes a tamperproof UDA hologram on the matting and a Certificate of Authenticity card.

Inscriptagraphs is a leading memorabilia company with a large online presence. The confetti was acquired directly from a longtime Staples Center employee who handled it on the night of the game.
