1995 $ 1 Federal Reserve Atlanta ERROR NOTE PMG 66 EPQ # 910

This is a VERY RARE ERROR NOTE! We are offering a 1995 $ 1 Federal Reserve note. This note is from the Atlanta BEP as signified by the letter “F” on the note.
This is also a high grade note from PMG in 66 Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ).

This note features a “Serial Number Error”. It has an open number “0”, which looks like the letter “C” on the bottom left serial number. The bottom left serial number is F 1494491C V and the top right serial number is F 14944910 V. This was caused by insufficient inking on the last number as it was being printed.

Only 1% of notes printed by the BEP are error notes. Of that, only 1% are put into circulation because their quality control doesn't catch them. Of that, only 1% is actually recognized by the public and saved for the collectors.
