Being offered today is a VERY RARE excellent example of a 1934 $50.00 Federal Reserve note that is in Choice Uncirculated (CU) condition. This note has another great feature. It is a low serial numbered note. The serial number on this note is G00404300A. This note was among the first notes printed which is identified by the G – A block. The letter G in the serial number stands for the 7th Federal Reserve Bank, which is located in Chicago.
This note is from the letter “G” Federal Reserve Series which is designated by the “G” on the left side of the note. The letter G Series is from the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank (see pics). The note carries a Light Green Seal (LGS) on the right side of the note. This note is very hard to find in this condition.
The color just pops off the note. The margins are centered very well, and the ink just pops off the note. The colors are bright and bold.
