Biblical Judaea. Herod I “the Great”, 37-4 BC. Bronze prutah. The front depicts two crossed cornucopiae / The back depicts an Anchor, Greek inscription reading "HWPOD" (Herod) around. Great detail, nice coppery tone. ref: Hendin #54 for type. Jerusalem mint. Coin measures 13 mm diameter, with nice detail. Encapsulated and graded Choice Fine by NGC. Lovely patina, great detail for these. Archival slab measures 3.125" x 2.125" x 0.375”.
