Biblical Judaea. Herod I “the Great”, 37-4 BC. A bronze prutah. One side depicts two crossed cornucopiae, and the other side depicts an anchor with a Greek inscription reading "HWPOD". Great detail, dark coppery tone. Ref: Hendin #54 for type. Jerusalem mint. Coin measures 15mm in diameter, with nice detail. Encapsulated and graded Choice Fine by NGC! Archival slab measures 3.125" x 2.125" x 0.375”.
