18th-19th Century Ottoman Flintlock Pistol
Product Description
A very nice 18th-19th Century Ottoman flintlock pistol, overall length approximately 17.5” with an 11” barrel. Muzzle-loading with a single-shot capacity, checkered wood grip and frame. The brass butt, trigger guard, and front barrel band are nicely engraved with incised decorations, with a very old inscription underneath the hammer. The lock technically functions but the hammer is at a bit of an angle and won't strike the strike-plate cleanly. Beautifully preserved, and comes with a custom metal stand (17.5"L x 2"W x 7"H including stand). Ex old Connecticut collection.
