A large and beautiful ancient Celtic bronze bracelet or Torque dating from the Late Bronze Age, Circa 1000-800 BC. A large bronze bracelet comprised of one long round length of metal gracefully curved and tapered toward the ends, and was most likely worn on the upper arm below the bicep. Near perfectly preserved with a beautiful glossy green patina and a slight curvature to the profile. Measures 3.875” outside diameter, about 3.5” across the inside. From the collection of a Vienna, Austria Art dealer, acquired on the European Art Market from 1995 to present. Accompanied by a hand-signed certificate of authenticity which includes all the details, culture, dating, motifs/inscriptions when applicable, historical relevance, and provenance.
